In Memory of Mr Yip (Fat S Yip), One of Our Fellow Sketchers

In Memory of Mr Yip (Fat S Yip)

As one of the earliest members to join Urban Sketchers Hong Kong, Mr Yip had always been a very active member and had contributed many wonderful sketches of Hong Kong and abroad to our group. Mr Yip’s sketches are lively, cheerful and full of passion. Some of his sketches were explorations of Chinese ink painting in urban sketches, a rare and bold approach. His works indeed gave our fellow sketchers a lot of inspirations. We are very sad to learn about Mr Yip’s passing on the 5th February 2017 and we will surely miss him. He was 72.

With deepest condolences,
